At St. Michael’s Christian Academy (SMCA), we believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn at school in the classroom with their peers.  Although COVID-19 has certainly changed the methods by which we accomplish this, we believe that it is healthy for children to learn in an environment that allows them to congregate, socialize, and interact with their teachers and friends.

To comply with state, county, CDC, and the Orange County Health Agency (OCHA) guidelines; SMCA submitted a waiver application for in-person learning during the summer of 2020 to the OCHA.  Our application was approved prior to the beginning of the school year of 2020/2021.  You can find a copy of our approval letter here.

As a result of carefully following our protocols, SMCA students have been able to enjoy full in-person education the past two school years.  With the general improvement of the COVID-19 situation, we have made some updates to our coronavirus policies, which can be found here.
