At St. Michael’s Christian Academy (SMCA), we believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn at school in the classroom with their peers. Although COVID-19 has certainly changed the methods by which we accomplish this, we believe that it is healthy for children to learn in an environment that allows them to congregate, socialize, and interact with their teachers and friends.
To comply with state, county, CDC, and the Orange County Health Agency (OCHA) guidelines; SMCA submitted a waiver application for in-person learning during the summer of 2020 to the OCHA. Our application was approved prior to the beginning of the school year of 2020/2021. You can find a copy of our approval letter here.
As a result of carefully following our protocols, SMCA students were able to enjoy full in-person education this past year of 2020/2021. With the general improvement of the COVID-19 situation, we have made some updates to our coronavirus policies, which can be found here. The most important of these updates is that masks will be optional for the 2021/2022 school year.
If you have any questions regarding our update COVID-19 policies or would like to enroll your child, please contact the school office at email@example.com or call us at (949) 366-9468. You can also visit our Admissions page here to begin the enrollment process.
