Our Story

In today’s world, too many elementary schools overlook essential foundational skills, emphasizing activism over the fundamentals. Young students face many harmful ideas leading to their isolation and that of their families. Without shared traditional values, these students lack the crucial groundwork to grow and mature.

At Saint Michael’s Christian Academy, it’s a different story. Small, close-knit classes focused on timeless basics provide a nurturing learning space. Our teachers adeptly tailor their approach to the unique gifts and life experiences of each student, making room for academic and social growth. They encourage curiosity and imagination, guiding these students toward strength, resilience, and solid values.

In this steadfast, truth-centered Christian setting, students blend learning with faith as they equip themselves to pursue their life aspirations. SMCA graduates step into the world well-prepared to excel in school, work, and family life.

A Vision for Each Student

It’s our vision to see our students succeed in their high school careers and adult lives and to continue in the Faith, encouraged and reinforced in their studies at St. Michael’s Christian Academy (SMCA).  We also wish to see these same students impact the world by living out the Gospel in their daily work and family lives.

Academic Excellence

Our curriculum, taught by highly qualified educators, ensures that every student receives the knowledge, skills, and critical-thinking abilities needed to excel.

Personalized Approach

Our small class sizes enable our teachers to provide the individual attention that each student needs to achieve in his/her subject matter.

An Education that Supports the Christian Faith

Through daily chapel, prayer, and Scripture; we provide a solid spiritual foundation to guide our students in their personal and academic lives.

Vision

To see our students succeed in their high school careers and adult lives and to continue in the Faith, encouraged and reinforced in their studies at St. Michael’s Christian Academy (SMCA). We also wish to see these same students impact the world by living out the Gospel in their daily work and family lives.

Mission

To provide a learning environment that promotes academic excellence, the Christian faith, and character formation for children in grades Kindergarten through Eighth.

Statement of Faith

At SMCA, we promote the Gospel in such a way that students from various Christian backgrounds will easily fit in and feel comfortable.  While our school is a ministry of our church, SMCA is open to any family looking for a Christian learning environment that will uphold the Faith as it has been passed down for the last two millennia.  That being said, here is what you can expect:
The Trinity—We believe in God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ—We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He was born of the Virgin Mary, that He died for our sins, that He was resurrected from the dead, that He ascended into Heaven, and that He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father.
The Bible—We believe that the Bible, made up of sixty-six books, is the word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and is infallible.
The Fall and Sin—We believe that, in the beginning, mankind fell into sin and has since been in need of salvation. We believe that sin keeps us from fellowship with God and that sin, in whatever form, can only be atoned through Jesus Christ.
