Curriculum

A Child-Centered, Traditional Approach
Our curriculum is designed to teach preschool-age children language acquisition and visual perception skills through the following:
*alphabet recognition
*initial letter sounds
*numbers: counting and numeral recognition
*reasoning skills
*basic handwriting skills
*fine and large motor skills development
*art and music
*Spanish and dance (through outside source for additional fee)

To create a positive learning environment, we use teacher-directed activities, center and small-group interaction, and indoor/outdoor play activities. Another important part of our curriculum includes lessons from the Bible that teach basics of Christianity and virtues that pertain to proper behavior. Such virtues include honesty, courtesy, patience, fairness, and respect for God and peers.
